As a Director, Software Development, you'll manage and grow one or more engineering teams for Audible’s FinTech group. Achieving this vision means continuously innovating, enhancing the tools and strengthening our development process, how we work and leveraging new technologies to deliver services. We need your help to develop and deliver on this global vision.

ABOUT THE TEAM
You will lead the Cerebro team, our strategic accounting automation system. This team is responsible for automating accounting operations across Audible's marketplace, Google, and Apple. As a highly visible initiative with executive oversight, this role offers the opportunity to drive critical financial technology solutions under ambitious timelines.

You're a strategic technical leader who thrives on solving complex personalization problems at scale. You have deep experience building and leading engineering teams, with a passion for developing talent and creating an inclusive team culture that drives innovation. You demonstrate excellent judgment in balancing technical tradeoffs while maintaining focus on customer experience and business impact.

- Handle all aspects of software development, including operational metrics and support for your team's software
- Drive continuous improvement of delivery performance and quality in an agile environment
- Take charge of 1-2 Scrum teams
