Director, Software Product Manager

The Director, Software Product Manager will be responsible for a team that manages the strategy, vision and roadmap of the Print Software Platform. They are responsible for designing, developing, and managing activities for the Print software platform. In addition they will be responsible for supporting customer facing HP Product and solutions and their vast number of use cases. The Director, Software Product Manger makes data-driven decision and collaborates with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Architects, Product Managers to drive the platform functionality from concept to customer adoption.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a scalable, secure and reliable Print Software platform.Works closely with stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.Leads, coaches, cares for, and grows teams of customer-focused software and data engineers.Thoughtfully organizes and unblocks collaboration and partnership at multiple levels, across business groups and functions to achieve the organizational mission.Partners closely with Product Management, Technical Program Managers, Architects, HP product groups, and experts to envision, drive, and deliver innovative, compelling, and quality solutions at speed and scale.Engages with Architects and broader HP technology excellence communities to provide technical vision and strategy for the teams; designs and leads a multi-year technical roadmap, balancing short- and long-term technology investments.Roadmap – own platform roadmap for services and manage the backlog through constant prioritization. Manage product management requirements coming from various business units and cross functional teams.Translates stakeholder needs into product requirements and definitions.Collaborates with stakeholders to guide feature development and prioritization.Translates user requirements into executable and workable feature items with the software engineering team.Acts as an advocate for the stakeholders during specification and development stages.Manage product lifecycle of functionalities on the Print Software platform

The base pay range for this role is $159,650 to $239,500 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
