**What you’ll be doing**
The Credit Risk Data Warehouse (CRDW) Solutions group is responsible for providing project and data solutions for the regulatory and economic capital models as well as regulatory reporting and analytics risk systems in alignment with BCBS 239 principles for effective risk data aggregation. The group is also responsible for the development and delivery of data required for scorecard monitoring of Credit and AML models.
The Director, CRDW Solutions is responsible for the project delivery support of the credit risk data warehouses to ensure data quality is of high value and suitable for aggregation and reporting, enabling effective business decisions. This role acts as a SME for the implemented Regulatory and Economic Capital, as well as ECL calculations, and the associated risk system design and delivery management. This includes the application of robust system implementation, and general data controls, governance & oversight. The Director will partner with Enterprise stakeholders including and not limited to Model Quantification, Quantitative Risk Modelling, Regulatory Reporting and Business Intelligence Office, GORM, Capital Markets and Capital Markets Risk Management; Finance and Treasury, Risk Analytics and Credit Decisioning, Personal and Business Banking Products, Treasury, and Internal Audit organizations as well as, Technology & Operations to deliver risk data and project solutions for regulatory and economic capital and other core risk reporting, analytics and drive data quality improvement opportunities.

**How you’ll succeed**
+ **Solutions delivery within Credit Risk Data Warehouse domain –** Provide leadership and oversight of the lifecycle of Agile and Waterfall release initiatives. Define the scope of delivery and manage engagements to enable effective data solution teams.
+ **Data governance –** Ensure Capital Risk Data solutions are enhanced/modernized to respond to business and regulatory-driven initiatives. Engage with the data governance community within the Enterprise to help drive consistency, transparency and execution excellence.
+ **Effective leadership -** Be an inspiring and effective people leader. Empower the team and provide strategic direction while actively identifying streamlining opportunities.
+ **Relationship management –** Build strong relationships through collaboration with colleagues in Model Quantifications, Risk Analytics and Credit Decisioning, Capital Markets, PBB Product, Finance and Technology to ensure that systems provide information that is needed in both business making business decisions, and in ensuring that CIBC Credit Risk systems are adequately capitalized against associated domain risks.
**Who you are**
+ **You have 5+ years of experience** in Credit Risk Management, Credit Warehouse Project Delivery, Data Governance and Reporting. **It’s an asset** if you have knowledge of retail and wholesale credit businesses and have knowledge of Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) and Expected Credit Loss (ECL).
+ **You are highly proficient with data analysis tools** such as SAS EG and/or TOAD.
