POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Spa and Wellness is responsible for leading and managing the spa, fitness, beauty and recreation facilities across Morpheus Spa, Nuwa Spa, and Hotel A Spa at City of Dreams. This role ensures seamless operations, financial performance, and exceptional guest experiences, reflecting the luxury and elegance of each brand. Key focus areas include strategic planning, guest satisfaction, marketing initiatives, and maintaining world-class service standards. The Director will champion innovation, staff development, and operational excellence to position the spas as market leaders in wellness and relaxation.
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning and Financial Management:Develop annual business plans, forecasts, and marketing strategiesMonitor financial performance, ensuring profitability through budget management and cost controls.Implement yield management strategies to optimize revenue across services and facilities.Continuously evaluate service offerings, pricing strategies, and revenue-generating opportunities.

 Operations and Quality Control:Oversee daily operations of all spa, fitness, and recreation areas, ensuring exceptional service delivery.Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and ambiance.Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and hygiene standards to maintain consistency and compliance.Implement quality audits and feedback programs to identify areas for improvement.
 Guest Experience and Service Excellence:Drive a guest-centric culture, delivering personalized experiences, including VIP gaming guests.Maintain direct guest interaction, collecting feedback to refine offerings and ensure guest satisfaction.Develop signature treatments, luxury rituals, and wellness programs unique to each spa concept.Ensure seamless service integration across departments to enhance the guest journey.
 Marketing and Brand Development:Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote spa services locally, regionally, and internationally.Establish promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and partnerships to drive business growth.Position each spa as a unique destination, aligned with its distinct brand identity and guest profile.Leverage trends and market insights to introduce innovative wellness programs and experiences.
Team Leadership and Development:Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team that embodies the brand values and luxury standards.Implement ongoing training programs focused on technical skills, service excellence, guest engagement.Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans to build a motivated and skilled workforce.Promote a culture of accountability, health, safety, and wellness among employees.
 Maintenance and Facility Management:Ensure all facilities, equipment, and furnishings reflect the highest standards of luxury and upkeep.Collaborate with Engineering and Housekeeping to implement preventive maintenance programs.Develop and monitor maintenance schedules to sustain visual appeal and operational efficiency.
 Reporting and Analytics:Prepare periodic reports on performance, usage trends, and guest feedback for senior management.Use data insights to refine strategies, improve guest satisfaction, and enhance financial outcomes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Guest Satisfaction: Achieve consistently high ratings and positive feedback for spa and wellness services.Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed financial targets through effective marketing and operational strategies.Operational Efficiency: Optimize resource utilization and cost management while maintaining service standards.Staff Engagement: Develop and retain a motivated team with low turnover and high performance.Market Positioning: Enhance the reputation of each spa as a leader in luxury wellness and relaxation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in luxury spa, wellness, and fitness operations.Proven expertise in managing multiple facilities within a high-end hospitality or resort environment.Experience in strategic planning, marketing, and financial management of spa and wellness services.
 Education:Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Spa Management, or a related field.Advanced certifications in Spa Management or Wellness preferred.
 Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and lead teams.Exceptional attention to detail, aesthetics, and luxury service standards.Proficiency in analyzing trends, guest preferences, and financial reports to inform decisions.Ability to develop and execute creative marketing strategies to drive revenue.Expertise in VIP and high-net-worth client engagement.Passion for wellness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
