Job Summary: We’re seeking a Director of Sales, Marketing Solutions to sell omni channel marketing solutions to health plan prospects and existing health plan clients. The sales director will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and driving revenue. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.  Responsibilities:Prospect and Identify Opportunities: Identify and target potential customers through proactive research and lead generation techniques. Develop a deep understanding of the target market and create a robust pipeline of potential clients.Engage and Qualify Leads: Initiate contact with leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking. Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and purchasing authority.Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospects to gain their trust and confidence. Understand their pain points, challenges, and objectives to tailor sales strategies accordingly.Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling and persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to educate potential clients about our products or services, emphasizing their value and benefits.Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure profitable deals. Close sales and consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including lead generation, communications, and sales outcomes. Develop the strategies needed to help clients make informed decisions through a consultative sales approachUtilize Forecasting and business analytical skills to take advantage of opportunities and to expand relationshipsBuild relationships with agency and brand decision makers alikeWork closely with internal teams to identify key strategies to maximize impact of clients’ campaigns on the WebMD Health NetworkWork closely with Sales Planning group to ensure advertising campaigns performance metricsMeeting quarterly and annual sales goals and change sales into revenueRequirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required3-5 years advertising sales experienceAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to be responsible and results drivenSolid communication skillsExcellent organization and documentation skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce)Experience with within health system marketing and/or pharmaceutical industry strongly desired; equivalent experience in a highly regulated industry may substituteKnowledge of marketing-related creative processExtensive client deal-making experience and a desire to aggressively “hunt” and develop new businessExcels in an entrepreneurial sales environment with only moderate supervision.  Can handle the complexities of managing a territory with support teams.Effectively blends the need to be a brand champion, a data expert, and a client consultant in order to maximize territory salesExcellent written and verbal skills, professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and enjoys working on a teamRelevant hospital and health system industry experience preferred Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000. Role is commission eligible
