Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Proven success managing a national territory in the health and well-being market.Past experience working with public sector agencies.Create a disciplined approach to monthly forecasting to effectively manage the territory new sales pipeline.Experience achieving annual sales quota of $1.5MProactive attitude to build and grow an untapped market.Experience working with the major employee benefits firms.Leverage industry network to obtain market opportunities.Strong verbal and written communication; this position requires an individual who is detail-oriented.Experienced leading and completing complex vertical specific RFPs.Perform responsibilities in a professional manner, meeting the company’s mission and goals. Travel is required to present company capabilities, ascertain client needs and generate new business.Solicit leads, attend trade shows and conferences, and build relationships with consultants in the target market.Qualify prospects according to the company's lead qualifying process.Ensure new business is in line with company standards/focus on the bottom line. Manage contract negotiations and seamless transition to account management for delivery of new accounts. Where appropriate, work with supervisor and/or other applicable personnel to generate, monitor, and achieve sales forecasts, revenue, and goals.
Education and/or Experience: Must have an entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate, and approachable. A Bachelor’s degree and five (5) or more years related experience and/or training are required for this position.These requirements may be substituted by or with an equivalent combination of education and experience where applicable.

This national role will focus on enterprise employers and large public sector entities throughout the US. A Managing Director is an individual contributor focused on driving new business sales.
