As our Director, Strategic Alliances, you’ll support HID’s success by:
Strategic Partnership Development: Design, implement, and communicate a comprehensive strategic partnership roadmap aligned with business objectives in the identity and biometric markets. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-impact partnerships, with a focus on the banking, airport and airline, and retail-hospitality industries to accelerate growth and market penetration. Lead initiatives to expand into untapped and emerging markets, leveraging partnerships to drive adoption of identity solutions in critical sectors
Industry Leadership & Market Positioning: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape in the biometric and facial recognition sectors, particularly in financial services, travel, and retail-hospitality. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums specific to the banking, travel, and retail industries to strengthen market presence. Serve as a trusted ambassador of HID Global, building credibility and fostering trust within the identity and biometric ecosystem
Performance Metrics, Reporting & Quota Management: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and ROI of partnership initiatives across diverse markets, with a direct impact on revenue generation. Carry and achieve a partnership-driven sales quota by driving revenue growth through strategic alliances in the banking, airport and airline, and retail-hospitality sectors. Utilize data-driven insights to refine and optimize alliance programs for maximum impact, ensuring alignment with overall sales targets and business objectives
Growth Acceleration: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and joint ventures that drive product innovation and market differentiation in digital banking security, airport passenger identity verification, and retail-hospitality personalization. Leverage industry insights to create scalable partnership models that address evolving customer needs in key sectors
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse, geographically dispersed team of partnership professionals with expertise in the banking, aviation, and hospitality markets. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with business goals and core values
Sales Enablement & Market Activation: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted sales enablement materials, presentations, and go-to-market strategies for the financial services, airport and airline, and retail-hospitality sectors
Your Experience and Background include:
BS/BA or equivalent industry experience 10+ years global sales experience in the Financial Service area for IT vendors, IT Sec sales experience and/or experience in the Authentication market or HID products is a plus. 5+ years of people management experience A proven track record of quota/goal achievement and demonstrated career stability Proven experience in a leadership role driving strategic alliances within the identity and biometric technology markets, with a strong track record of delivering revenue growth and market expansion Demonstrated ability to carry and exceed individual sales quotas through hands-on execution of partnership strategies and direct revenue-generating activities Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions In-depth knowledge of identity and biometric, trends, and industry dynamics Demonstrated ability to drive results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment Extensive experience in building and maintaining key partners Experience working closely with legal to manage contract negotiations that incorporate commercial/legal risk, profitability & customer value Excellent communication and presentation skills amongst global & broad audience Strong negotiation, closing and relationship-building skills Proven ability to successfully partner with large international organizations Ability to respectfully drive and influence change cross-organizationally across dynamic multiculture environment Adaptable and comfortable in a rapidly changing industry landscape Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen Excellent networking skills with a strong industry presence Exceptional organizational and project management skills

The base salary in the United States is $180,000-200,000 with an 80/20 split. OTE $250,000
