The Director of Strategic Initiatives plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic direction for Talent Solutions. This leadership position requires a visionary thinker who can identify, plan, and oversee key initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and long-term success. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive strategic priorities and ensure alignment with Talent Solutions mission and goals.
Making an Impact
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the organization's strategic plan, in collaboration with senior leadership, to set clear objectives, priorities, and performance metrics.
• Initiative Development: Identify and assess potential strategic initiatives, projects, and partnerships that align with the organization's strategic goals.
• Project Oversight: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Risk Management: Anticipate potential challenges and risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop proactive mitigation plans.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, board members, partners, and industry influencers.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making, measure progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation by identifying and prioritizing high-impact initiatives and allocating budgets and personnel accordingly.
• Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the organization by exploring new technologies, business models, and market trends.
• Change Management: Drive organizational change as necessary to support the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and the board on the status and impact of strategic initiatives.
People Leadership
• No direct reports currently, possible in the future
• Would need to lead teams from a strategic initiative and/or project management perspective
Your Typical Day and Other Key Details
• Remote work, home office required
• Develop and refine the organization's strategic plan, in collaboration with senior leadership, to set clear objectives, priorities, and performance metrics.
Required
• Experience: A minimum of 6-8 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic planning, project management, or a related role.
• Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to think strategically, develop a vision, and translate it into actionable plans.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading and delivering complex initiatives.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
Nice to Have
• Prior experience in a director-level position is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with Talent Solutions or adjacent business lines.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field is required.
