Your Role

The individual who holds this position will be responsible for the day-to-day and long term sales of the studio lot: stages, backlot, offices and ancillary spaces to WBD and 3rd party clients and will plan occupancy, budget and forecast revenue relating to these areas. They will respond to inquiries, provide tours and scouts for potential clients and track the sales of stages and offices.  Additionally, this person will oversee the stage and backlot scheduling, working closely with the Studio Operations Director and Managers to coordinate prep, shoot and strike of multiple productions on the backlot simultaneously and work with the Parking Dept to assign space for productions as needed, including base camp and production parking.

This role will maintain a 12 month calendar with all prospective bookings across the WB Burbank Main Lot, The Burbank Studios, and The Ranch Studios upon completion in Q1 2026. They will supervise three leasing managers and a coordinator in support of the Studio’s sales efforts. The Director, Studio Leasing will maintain close relationships with WBD’s production executives across multiple divisions to ensure the highest levels of service supporting internal production. This individual will also closely collaborate with colleagues at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden to ensure a seamless experience for productions that work across both facilities.

Your Role Accountabilities

Collaborating with producers, production executives, and studio executives to help sell Studio services to prospective clientsResponsible for space inquiries and the scheduling of scouts. Maintaining long term forecast chartsOversight and preparation of cost estimates for WBD and third-party clients.Working alongside Finance and Senior Management to forecast revenue and occupancyOversight and supervision of WBSO Studio Operations personnel: 3 Managers, Leasing & 1 Coordinator.

Requirements & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.5-8 years in film/television production, or production facility operations, or commercial real estate, or building managementEnthusiasm for entertainment production and the idiosyncratic challenges it presentsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly create rapport with prospective clients and colleagues across the companyAbility to withstand and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced workload and effectively balance expedient responses with good judgementOverview to assess the requests/needs of a specific client with the big picture (i.e. needs of all clients as well as the company) and make decisions accordinglyHigh standards of detail and self-review to ensure accurate communicationProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programsMust be able to quickly learn new software programs custom to Studio client support (e.g. Planon, Xytech MediaPulse, Salesforce)Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as photocopying equipment and multi-function devicesSense of humor

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $93,100.00 - $172,900.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
