Hybrid Setup: 3 days on-site per week

Provide expertise in Memo & Tax Planning, Section 85 rollovers, and estate planning. Conduct tax research and analysis, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Review tax models, compliance forms, and legal documents to support tax planning. Act as a tax lead on small to medium-sized tax consulting engagements. Provide training and mentorship to junior tax team members. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the tax division. Engage in business development activities, fostering relationships with clients and industry professionals. Ensure all procedures are followed accurately and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) to the executive team.

Director, Tax Advisory Qualifications (Mandatory):

CPA designation required Completion of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course (mandatory) 10+ years in a public accounting firm 5+ years of experience managing a team 5+ years in Tax Advisory Strong experience in Memo & Tax Planning, Postmortem planning, Estate Freezes, Corporate Reorganizations, and Section 85 rollovers Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
