We are seeking a Director of Tax Technology to lead the implementation and support of our tax and e-invoicing technology solutions as we modernize our wholesale, e-commerce and retail operations globally. You will partner with Skechers business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, ensure compliance with government-specific requirements, manage vendor relationships, and oversee integrations into upstream/downstream systems.
Skechers leverages Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE for taxes and Edicom as our e-invoicing platform. While system-specific knowledge is not required, a strong background in tax technology or e-invoicing systems is essential.

JOB REQUIREMENTS-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Equivalent experience is acceptable.7+ years of experience in tax technology, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleUnderstanding of tax engines (such as Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Vertex, or Avalara) and/or e-invoicing solutionsStrong understanding of how global tax regulations their impact technology solutionsExperience in leading large-scale technology implementations and integrationsExcellent project management skills with experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesStrong leadership and team management skillsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with API integrations and data managementKnowledge of SQL and data analysis toolsFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence, Excel, and AlteryxSalary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000
