Director, Technology Business Development

Sinclair is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to drive the implementation of new technology-driven business models as the Director, Technology Business Development.  In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic elements of new business models that leverage the technology capabilities of the company. You will have the opportunity to directly lead business initiatives, provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership, and interface with a wide variety of business functions across the company.

Sinclair needs a motivated leader who is able to work effectively and cross-functionally to solve a wide range of business problems and collaborate with our executive team to enable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the business operations aspects of emerging technology businesses Evaluate technology solutions in context of quality, scalability, cost-effectiveness and fit with business requirements  Provide business leadership for various proof of concepts designed to test technology solutions and economic viability Manage the process for strategic and roadmap planning, working with stakeholders from across the company to craft and refine the product’s direction and KPIs.  Provide perspective and thought leadership to senior management and stakeholders to support decision making and alignment on priorities. Manage relationships with key partners and vendors Coordinate with internal shared services to provide additional capabilities in support of strategic objectives Develop and evaluate potential business opportunities, including: Financial projections Revenue/Pricing model Likelihood of success/market fit Proper leveraging of existing assets Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate potential strategic partnerships Represent the interests of Sinclair in negotiations with outside parties Conduct independent research into new business opportunities Attract, hire, and manage key business development personnel 

Requirements: 

10+ years of pertinent experience - various backgrounds and familiarity with diverse businesses will be considered Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a high level of intellectual curiosity  Ability to solve problems creatively Excellent communication skills with a demonstrable history of influencing organizations, working collaboratively, and building relationships with all levels of management Great interpersonal skills The ability to deliver high quality results under tight deadlines A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; MBA preferred

Let’s talk.   The base salary compensation range for this role is $165,000 to $220,000.  Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
