Summary:

The e-Discovery Director, Project Management, Antitrust Practice Group, is responsible for the execution of litigation support projects, specifically, those relating to matters of antitrust and Second Requests (“2Rs”) and is ultimately responsible for the quality and timeliness of all projects managed by the team. This role will grow to also oversee a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators who are to support said projects. Builds and grows relationships with clients, learning each regulatory agency’s, and client’s technical specifications and advising on best practices when appropriate. Identifies potential project problem areas and solves those problems before and as they arrive. Responsible for training and developing team and maintaining profitability of team. Contributes to improving antitrust / 2R offerings, including, but not limited to, maintaining project statistics, supporting sales team, developing marking material, keeping up to date on current trends, contributing to thought leadership, and developing efficient processes and training

Position responsibilities:

Responsible for the execution of antitrust / 2R litigation support projects for VIP clients and complex casesOversee full life cycle of projects according to client parametersTrack delivery schedules, ensuring proper quality assurance, and manage changes in work scopeCommunicate with clients and proactively offer solutions to improve their workflow through the life cycle of a caseMonitor multiple projects and jobs to ensure deadlines are metWork closely with production and staffing divisions to ensure proper allocation of resources based on deadlines and priorities set by the clientServe as a liaison between the production staff, and the client during the life cycle of a projectDevelop and utilize strong analytical skills to research potential solutions and determine appropriate course of actionEnsure jobs are completed according to client, and industry standards, and that job specifications and deadlines are metAttend client meetings with sales teams to assist in explaining our antitrust offerings, closing deals and maintain client relationshipsAttend, present and/or write regarding antitrust thought leadershipKeep up to date on ediscovery trends, including those specific to antitrust and large / fast paced matters.Work to develop 2R specific workflows, trainings and efficienciesTrack antitrust practice statistics to help understand and grow the practiceTrain and develop project managers and project coordinators on teamBalance workload of team to maximize profitability while maintaining qualityContribute to developing training material and to improving internal processes and external offeringsPerform other special projects or duties when required

About You

Your experience includes:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or universityAt least 5 years of eDiscovery project management experience required; vendor preferredLong history with running 2R projects as a lead PM, as well as supporting and training PMs on 2R projects.History of negotiating with the DOJ and FTC on 2R projects.Working knowledge of TAR / predictive coding, and other analytics technologies on 2R projectsWorking knowledge of operations, including document imaging, printing, coding, and electronic data processingExperience with Relativity, IPRO, LAW PreDiscovery, Concordance, Summation or other review database applications is a mustKnowledge of MS Office applications including MS Access requiredAvailable to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed, especially during “crunch time” during 2Rs.Available by phone or email when out of the office as neededAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExcellent customer service skillsMust be a high-level problem solver and have high multi-tasking skillsBusiness-oriented with a record of leadership

Desired skills:
