Job Summary:
The Director, Training is responsible for overseeing the MoneyGuide’s overall training strategy both internally and externally, ensuring that learning initiatives are aligned with organizational objectives. This individual will play a key role in delivering best-in-class training experiences for both employees and clients. The Director, Training will lead the creation of a scalable training infrastructure, manage a team of training professionals, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure that training programs are aligned with company MoneyGuide products, technology, and business strategies. This role requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, innovation, and hands-on execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee training initiatives for external clients, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to successfully utilize the MoneyGuide products. Develop and manage client training programs, including customized sessions and self-service resources.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing training team, ensuring continuous professional development, strong collaboration, and alignment with company goals. Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance management of training staff.
Partner with senior leadership, business analyst teams, human resources, service, and other key stakeholders to ensure training programs are integrated into broader company MoneyGuide initiatives. Drive alignment on training priorities, content, and execution to address both immediate needs and long-term skill development for clients.
Oversee the design, development, and execution of impactful training programs for employees, clients, and partners. Ensure training initiatives are tailored to meet the diverse needs of various teams and client segments, leveraging in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms.
Establish clear KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Analyze feedback and performance data to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and overall program impact. Ensure training is scalable and adaptable to the MoneyGuide’s growth and evolving product offerings.
Work closely with product, customer success, and technical teams to ensure training content is up-to-date, accurate, and relevant to the latest product features and updates. Foster a deep understanding of fintech products and systems within the training team.
Manage onboarding programs for new employees and clients, ensuring a seamless, impactful introduction to the MoneyGuide’s products and services.
Oversee the training budget and resource allocation..
Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in training, learning & development, ideally within the fintech or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, virtual training tools, and performance support solutions.
Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align training programs with business goals and organizational priorities.
Strong data analysis skills and ability to use metrics to measure training effectiveness, drive decision-making, and optimize learning outcomes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, managers, and external clients.
