As the Director, Trend and Design - ROW, you will report to the Global Director, Trend and Design. You will be a contributing member of the Design team, inspiring creative design thinking through your expert insights in global and regional trends in fashion, sport, culture, art and design, which are anchored in your vast proficiency in consumer and marketplace data. You will contribute to the creative design vision cross-functionally by informing brand-right seasonal storytelling, key product silhouettes, novelties, and personalization. You will help to build presentation assets, trend reports and runway recaps to distribute and present brand wide.
You are an analytical creative and know how to inspire a team through innovative thinking and collaboration in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You can confidently forecast upcoming trends through your expert knowledge of the industry’s landscape and enjoy building inspiring creative assets.
What You'll Do Determine both short and long-term consumer and trend insights to create concepts consistent with Crocs’ design values and strategic needs Inform creative vision throughout design organization to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand message Maintain external trend partnerships relating to both region-specific and Global consumer and trend insights Create inspiring presentations, visuals and materials that can be used throughout the organization Maintain proficient understanding of regional marketplace trend through in-person retail analysis Collaborate seamlessly within the cross-functional teams to drive the seasonal design Lead multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment on seasonal and close to market calendars Demonstrate deep understanding of the most forward-thinking consumers and brands globally and how to connect them to the Crocs brand Partner closely with the Director of Design on team excellence and design excellence Inspire those around you, lead with integrity and humility. What You'll Bring to the Table 10+ years’ experience in product creation (footwear preferred) 3+ years’ leadership experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage an audience virtually and across multiple time-zones Skilled in Concept Creation, and Global Consumer Data and Trend Analysis with expertise in regional-specific insights.
