Summary
Are you a proven sales leader ready to take Axis Americas to the next level? The Director of Sales, US is a visible, critical leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving all sales activities in 6 Business Areas across the US. The selected individual will work closely with other department heads to achieve company objectives and will be a member of the Axis Americas Management Team.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market presence Identify and develop new revenue streams
Lead, mentor, and scale a world-class sales organization
Establish metrics and processes to optimize the sales pipeline
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Technical Services to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution Collaborate with Human Resources to design and implement compensation plans, manage performance and develop teams
Partner with the executive team to shape the company’s strategic direction
Represent the company at industry events and with key strategic customers
Lead complex enterprise-level contract negotiations
Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to the executive team
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
Address and resolve complex customer or team challenges promptly in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive sales leadership with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role in the security industry (or related) including channel or B2B experience
Proven experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Deep understanding of security (or related) technologies, solutions, and industry trends
Demonstrated analytical and forecasting experience
Decisive leadership with a demonstrated ability to make confident, data-driven decisions
Proven experience coaching, developing, and motivating team members
Demonstrated competence in business leadership, people leadership and organizational leadership
