Overview

As Director, Wholesales, you will be responsible for the Crocs brand for the Wholesale channel in Australia. You will deliver balanced, profitable growth and increase market share through a strong consumer focus and strategic channel management.

What You'll Do Develop the overall commercial strategy aligned to Crocs consumer affinities, growth pillars and shape of the marketplace for the wholesale channel. Ability to translate corporate and regional initiatives into local strategic/tactic plans. Build the objectives for account management, distribution, and new business development. Set clear objectives, targets, guidelines for the sales team. Deliver the overall financial objectives for the business including revenue, gross margin, SG&A, OPI, Working Capital and inventory turns. Support the Go-To-Market strategy and execution for key accounts including product assortments and marketing activations. Conduct competitor analysis, monitor industry trends, understand consumer preferences and behaviors and leverage insights for current and future business planning. Ensure the team meets or exceeds performance standards including prospecting calls, presentations, negotiations, and order book management. Lead, mentor and develop a strong, high performing, and engaged team. Acquire and retain top talent. Monitor, measure, and report on all business KPIs. Establish and develop key relationships internally and externally to influence and execute strategic direction. Optimally work with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Demand Planning, Customer Service and Human resources to evaluate and monitor the commercials. results for the channel, assessing risks and issues, addressing mitigation actions and reviewing contingency plans and solutions as needed. What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor’s Degree and above preferred Ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of sales experience. Experience in the footwear industry is preferred with at least 4 years of people management experience Solid understanding of Australia retail and wholesale footwear landscape, market trends and consumer insights Understands multifaceted and global business organizations; can navigate across matrixed organization, sales channels and communications platforms to provide strategic recommendations and action plans Demonstrates strong leadership skills for direct reports, also possesses strong ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional partners through influence Strategic mind and strong business acumen Results oriented. Ability to balance between both long-term objectives and short-run performance Strong communication abilities, written and verbal Effective negotiation skills Demonstrated experience building and managing teams Strong organizational and analytical skills Comfortable dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity Excellent project management oversight abilities; can drive forward projects and initiatives in ambiguous and changing environments against tight timelines Passion and tenacity for solving problems through creativity, collaboration, and resourcefulness. Ability to travel up to 50%
