Position Purpose: Owner of Centene’s strategy for how we grow talent experientially in the organization. Create/enhance our career development framework, work across the business to create adoption, and continually look for technological solutions to enhance our ability to grow our workforce and fill our pipelines. Lead our tools and processes in this space while integrating them into our broader HR ecosystem so that our approach is intuitive and valued across all levels of the company. Centene’s Director of Workforce Performance is responsible for designing, implementing, and leading initiatives that enhance workforce effectiveness through consistent, high-impact employee development practices. This leader will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop strategies to organize, align, and optimize a connected enterprise learning experience, including implementing skills-focused practices, developing holistic learning quality and branding controls, creating enterprise-level learning reporting, and enabling shared measurable performance outcomes. Partnering closely with the Director of Enterprise Learning, this role ensures that we are driving a connected learning experience across Centene.
Plan, organize, and schedule activities related to the organizational development programsPerform team needs analysis; make recommendations and lead the implementation as it relates to organizational developmentBased on a comprehensive needs assessment, create effective organizational structure, roles and jobsAdminister performance management tools such as 360 instruments, competency models, and opinion/climateDevelop and implement appropriate interventions for performance improvementAssist in the evaluation/ effectiveness of organizational development programs and resolve identified issues or concernsConfer with appropriate management and staff to gain knowledge of work situations, processes, regulations, business initiatives and technologiesPerform group development and team building opportunities/trainingProvide one on one and group performance coaching for managementAssist in LMS (Learning Management System), elearning and HR systems management, implementation and administrationAssist with Succession Planning and Management process leading to effective Development PlanningCultivate and sustain an enterprise learning community of practice and implement quality, branding, and learning standards.Implement and evolve skills-focused practices across the organization, ensuring alignment with current and future workforce needs.Utilize data-driven analytics to assess skill gaps, identify trends, and align workforce capabilities with strategic business needs.Optimize the enterprise learning ecosystem by integrating tools, platforms, and technologies that support connected and seamless learning experiences.Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development/Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. 7+ years of organizational development or training experience including talent management experience. Experience with workforce planning, change management or PROSCI preferred.
Pay Range: $129,400 - $239,300

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
