Director, WWPS Pipeline Development & Shared Services , WWPS
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional leader to head our newly created Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Pipeline Development & Shared Services organization. This pivotal role will drive innovation, efficiency, and growth across our global public sector business.

As the Director, you will lead a large team of professionals, unifying previously disparate groups including Capture, Proposal and Technical Writing (CPT), Contracts, and Global Lead Development. Your mission is to create synergies among these teams, dramatically improve our capture and win rates, and support the scaling of public sector cloud adoption worldwide.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategies to increase deal pipeline across all stages of the sales lifecycle for WWPS
• Collaborate closely with AGS cloud sales center leaders on tooling, reporting, and mechanisms for global lead development
• Serve as a key member of the WWPS leadership team, contributing to overall strategy and organizational direction
• Drive integration and optimization of the newly combined teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
• Implement metrics and processes to track and improve capture rates and win percentages
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Ensure alignment with WWPS Strategic Plan, particularly Goal 1: Scale Public Sector Cloud Adoption
• Collaborate with sales and industry teams to provide focused support for their initiatives
