Key Responsibilities:
The Director – HCM HR Delivery Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of a complex, multi-year Human Capital Management Cloud implementation for United Airlines. Collaborating closely with the Technical Lead, Payroll Lead, and Transformation Lead, this individual will drive the overall Human Resources program to deliver a high-quality solution that meets organizational needs and achieves program milestones.
Program Oversight: Ensure the program progresses according to established timelines, scope, and quality standards, proactively identifying and mitigating risks or delays.Solution Delivery: Oversee the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of HCM modules specific to HR functions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and program goals.Leadership & Collaboration: Co-lead and facilitate workshops with vendor and partner configuration teams to drive design discussions and decisions. Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams.Design and Gap Validation: Conduct fit/gap analyses to assess business requirements against HCM product capabilities, validate configuration designs, and explore resolution options for any gaps to ensure alignment with organizational needs.Quality Assurance and Readiness: Drive end-to-end testing efforts (unit, system, and user acceptance) and validate readiness for go-live, ensuring the final solution meets quality standards and functional expectations.QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
10+ years of related experienceProven experience as a lead on HCM technology implementations, managing complex, cross-functional projectsStrong leadership skills with the ability to drive teams toward successful delivery while managing competing prioritiesExceptional interpersonal skills for building and managing relationships with senior leaders, project teams, and external vendorsDemonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, with a focus on resolving issues quickly and effectivelyStrong understanding of HR processes, data flows, and system requirements in large, complex organizationsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate ambiguity and achieve project goalsOutstanding communication and facilitation skills, particularly for leading workshops and collaborative sessionsThe base pay range for this role is $155,895.00 to $212,410.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
