Facilities Operations Management careers are challenging! But you get results. Sodexo seeks our innovative Director of Facilities Operations to support integrated facilities at Claflin College, in Orangeburg, SC. 5 years Director experience in fully integrated facilities management in a complex, multi-building occupied space environment is required. Experience working in an HBCU preferred. HIGH SALARY and ANNUAL BONUS. Our successful candidate will lead and inspire our team on Sodexo's mission to provide quality facilities services and work within the small town culture to manage - Maintenance, Environmental Services and Grounds for 30+ buildings across campus.

What You'll Do Provide direction and guidance to the Facilities team of managers and employeesMaintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship with our client partnersMaage day-to-day facilities account responsibilities will include providing overall planning, strategic innovation and implementation of the campus plan, achieving operations and financial goalsManage IFM operations including Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, repair, Project Management, Environmental Services, Grounds and Landscaping Provide strong strategic senior level Facilities Operations leadership while influencing C-Suite level clients on all matters relating to contract and account operations What We Offer

What You Bring Senior level direction for all major Facilities projectsManagement and implementation of the University's Master PlanThe ability to interview, train and develop staff timely to assure succession planningDemonstrated history of enhancing facilities goals and objectives, allocating resources, controlling operating expenses, and ensuring efficient operation of all departmental functions  Experience leading renovation and construction projects and coordinate and engage architects and structural engineersExperience managing operating expenses, construction projects, major renewal and replacement projects securing funding Who We Are

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
