Kroll’s is growing its Valuation Advisory practice in Australia. We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Sydney team as a Director of Valuations. This is a leadership role, providing a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise while collaborating with a highly respected team. Since commencing in Australia in September 2021, Kroll has prepared over 25 independent expert’s reports for some of Australia’s largest transactions, including for the shareholders of Sydney Airport, Allkem, Altium, CSR, Pendal and Blackmores.
Role Overview
As a Director in the Valuations team, you will lead the delivery of high-quality valuation services to a diverse range of clients. From independent expert’s reports for ASX 200 companies, to portfolio valuations of major infrastructure assets for funds, you will lead complex engagements, contribute to strategic growth, and mentor a team of high-performing professionals in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
§ Leading and managing valuation engagements across independent expert’s reports and portfolio valuations. This will include valuations across all industries and for a variety of purposes.
§ Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, recognising that your commitment to excellence will strengthen client relationships and enhance our reputation as a market leader in valuations in Australia.
§ Drive business development initiatives, leveraging your network to expand Kroll’s client base and market presence in Australia.
§ Collaborate with global teams to deliver cross-border services and share knowledge.
§ Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
§ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, or a relevant field. Ideally also holds postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or is a CFA/CA/CPA.
§ At least 8 years of financial advisory experience, preferably in valuations or a closely related field.
§ Proven track record of managing client relationships and leading complex engagements.
§ Strong technical knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial accounting and financial modelling.
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.
§ Strong interpersonal skills.
§ Australian market experience and an established local professional network are highly desirable.
