Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Director in the education sector, specifically within a university setting. The role is based in Baltimore, Maryland and entails overseeing a program, recruiting participants, and assuming an instructional role, though not a teaching one. Responsibilities: • Oversee the administrative aspects of the program • Provide accurate and timely program data to relevant state entities • Utilize technical skills to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the program • Engage in recruitment activities to attract new students and community members to the program • Provide instructional guidance within the program, without assuming a teaching role • Leverage tools like Adobe Acrobat, Cisco Webex Meetings, and CRM to facilitate program operations • Manage the use of computer programs such as Dojo and About Time to streamline processes • Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders to maintain strong relationships • Deliver excellent customer service to all program participants • Handle accounting functions as needed to maintain financial integrity of the program Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing. • Should have experience with Cisco Webex Meetings to effectively manage remote meetings and webinars. • Must be familiar with a variety of computer programs to assist with daily tasks and operations. • Demonstrated experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools to manage and analyze customer interactions and data. • Knowledge of Dojo, a modern, high-level, dynamic, untyped, and interpreted programming language, is required. • Familiarity with About Time for effective time and attendance tracking. • Must understand and be able to perform accounting functions to ensure accurate financial operations. • Should be capable of managing attendance records for staff and students. • Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with staff, students, and parents. • Must possess strong customer service skills to ensure satisfaction of all stakeholders.
