The AEO also owns the company’s Conflicts of Interest program and the Code of Conduct Disclosure Portal, where colleagues must submit any relationships, outside business activities or board positions which may pose an actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest. The AEO facilitates the Investigations Working Group (IWG). In addition, the AEO’s Special Investigations Group investigates alleged colleague fraud, conduct risk and other business misconduct. Lastly, the AEO provides regular reporting to leadership and the Board on Hotline, investigations and ethics date trends and themes. The AEO sits in the General Counsel’s Organization (GCO), and within GCO, partners closely with the Global Litigation & Investigations Team, Employment Law Group and Global Security.
