We are seeking Director, Business Development for CEC (Cloud, Enterprise & Computing) team at Flex. This person will ideally be based in Bangalore (or) Chennai, India, reporting to our Lead for Communications Business Development.
In this role, you will be In-charge of qualifying new customers, developing relationship and business with them as well as existing customers, achieving pipeline and bookings results according to assigned unipersonal and team targets.
What a typical day looks like:
Develop new strategic alliances with key customers within the CEC (Communications, Enterprise and Cloud) marketplace.Research and recognize customers' business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities and align Flex resources were mutually beneficial.Define business priorities through a broad and far vision of their technology needs, to include initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.Collaborate with current customers in the development of new products and alternative go to market solutions and act as a focal point in delivering Flex’s solutions which include concept development, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services support and reverse logistics.Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to maximize mutual benefit.Represent Flex Ways of Working when interacting with internal & external contacts.Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers' needs and Flex targets.Ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives, and key clients.Able to travel up to 50% of the time.Some of our preferred experiences:
BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience10+ years of experience working in business development in India / SEAExperience working within Manufacturing Industries (EMS , OEM or Contract Manufacturing)Financial acumenKnowledge of Strategic Selling techniques and ability to grow a pipeline of business within current and new accounts.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide
