Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR- CARDIOPULMONARY SERVICES to join our RESPIRATORY THERAPY  team!


The Director of Cardiopulmonary Services is accountable for providing strategic leadership and operational direction for designated departments and related services which include Respiratory Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Services, Device Clinic, Echo/Vascular, EEG and the Aspirus Regional Sleep Disorders Center and affiliated labs. This includes a comprehensive understanding of market conditions, as well as the operational, financial, and quality components of the services. The Director of Cardiopulmonary Services works to define, develop, and implement all necessary structures, relationships, and resources needed to achieve strategic goals. The Director works collaboratively to sustain a professional practice and healthy work environment that enhances patient care and efficiency through leadership of multidisciplinary teams, effective physician relationships, and a shared vision and dedication to the future of Aspirus Health. 

HOURS: Full Time, 1.0 FTE

Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of cardiology and/or pulmonary service standards and practices acquired through completion of an Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.A Master’s Degree of Science in comparable health field and/or hospital management preferred.Minimum of five years of progressive health care management experience.Previous experience in the operation management of cardiopulmonary services is required with an emphasis in the procedural or diagnostic related services. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
