Summary
Oversees clinical operations across regional practices to ensure safe and effective delivery of patient care and services. Provides supervision and direction of the delivery of services, education programs, regulatory clinical expectations, and quality goals. Oversees clinical operations, performance, and quality improvement activities within the division, program or service line/institute including development and implementation of protocols and standardization of work. Supports the further development and service line regionalization efforts of clinical services and programs. Cultivates relationships with key stakeholders, by working collaboratively with other service lines, across acute care practices and ambulatory sites to promote and develop optimal services. Works in partnership with leaders to promote continuous improvement of clinical services and patient experience throughout the continuum of care.

Job DutiesAssumes responsibility for clinical performance, assessment of practices and clinical staff to ensure necessary planning and development of education and quality programs, and labor productivity across the enterprise. Collaborates with team members on the development and implementation of program and quality initiatives that enhance growth and clinical excellence incorporating best practices within the division, program or service line/institute, and standardization to enhance the LVHN brand. Works in concert with physician and administrative leadership to develop and grow clinical programs. Partners in the strategy and execution in collaboration with key stakeholders, including review and management of clinical operational KPI’s, clinical education, patient experience, and care transitions within the division, program or service line/institute. Develops, evaluates, and monitors the clinical efficiencies and processes to help ensure the department remains within the set clinical budget. Addresses performance issues promptly and appropriately and uses sound judgment in compliance with policy and applicable laws and regulations.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing as an RN. and Master’s Degree in nursing, healthcare management, or related field. 5 years of experience as a registered nurse or 5 years relevant experience in a physician office practice setting and supervisory experience directing other's work. Ability to initiate, accept, and adapt to change. Demonstrates strong leadership and mature emotional intelligence. Demonstrates proficiency in both transactional and transformational leadership. Demonstrates ability to partner with stakeholders to achieve goals. Strong clinical knowledge of best clinical practices. Excellent computer skills, electronic medical record (EMR), and Microsoft Office suite. Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
