Director CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative
ELIGIBLE FOR CMH EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS: PRIORITY RECRUITMENT Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) located in Astoria, Oregon is a full service, 25-bed, critical access, not-for-profit, Planetree-Certified hospital where person-centered care is a priority. CMH has proudly served the healthcare needs of the Astoria community for over a century. Combined, the hospital and clinics employ over 700 employees which includes a diverse professional medical staff of more than 50 physicians and advance practice professionals including surgical, non-surgical and primary care specialties. The CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative Director oversees the practice functions and program development of radiation oncology, medical oncology, infusions services, integrative therapies program and patient resource center all housed within the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Center in Astoria, OR. This position works with clinic manager and supervisor(s) to be accountable for all aspects of management, including operations, human resources, quality, and financial management within the noted clinics and programs. Director is also responsible for maintaining Commission on Cancer Accreditation and program compliance with HFAP and CMS standards. The director will act as the manager for the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative. In this role they will conduct quarterly meetings with the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative Executive Committee where budgets, capital requests, financial and programmatic updates will be reviewed and approved. Education/Experience Requirements: + Bachelors's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred. + 5 years of related management/leadership experience required. + Demonstrated successful progressive management experience in a complex academic medical center or large medical practice preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: + Experience in complex organization environments. Ability to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities. + Ability to manage people daily and inspire a high level of commitment and performance. + Strong background in financial operations including budgeting, long range forecasting, preparation of business plans, and fund accounting principles. + Proven ability to produce, analyze and improve key metrics in the areas of financial, provider performance, patient access, clinical quality, and administrative staff performance. + Ability to create competitive and innovative strategies to plan and anticipate future consequences and trends, and to translate activities to support the mission. + Proficient with word processing, computational spreadsheet (e.g., Excel), and presentation software.
