**Position Highlights**
Responsible to plan, organize and direct the overall day to day coding operations in collaboration with Avera Health coding Managers for designated coding service lines. The Director is responsible for the oversight of coding managers and is expected to have day to day involvement with various leaders across the organization including internal and external as necessary. The Director is responsible for managing and monitoring performance and quality metrics in addition to revenue cycle metrics as designed for all aspects of coding operations. The Director will assist in the establishment of performance metrics, policies and procedures, departmental objectives, and other administrative tasks involving committees for revenue cycle, clinical documentation, decision support, quality outcomes and other committees as determined.
