Position Overview: Under the guidance of the Vice President of Retail Sales, the Director of CollegeBoxes will be responsible for defining and institutionalizing our brand assets while upholding established standards. This role requires a visionary leader who can navigate the evolving landscape of consumer marketing and leverage multiple channels to connect with our audience effectively. Key Responsibilities: + Business Development: Develop and present tailored moving solutions for academic institutions, create compelling proposals, and build lasting partnerships. Additionally, you will represent our company by attending college housing conferences throughout the year, fostering new opportunities, and expanding our presence in the higher education sector. + Strategic Leadership: Develop and direct marketing strategies for CollegeBoxes across various platforms, including in-store, on campus, and online environments such as the U-Haul app. + Market Opportunity: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to enhance brand presence and drive growth. + Campaign Management: Conceptualize and implement strategic marketing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns successfully. + Brand Oversight: Supervise and maintain brand content, ensuring adherence to brand standards and usage guidelines. Manage access to brand assets and oversee brand consistency across all platforms. + Insight Analysis: Track and analyze consumer and market insights, including sales volume, market share, profit projections, and consumer research to inform strategic decisions. + Data-Driven Decisions: Evaluate sales data to optimize the brand or category portfolio, identify new product opportunities, and phase out underperforming products. + Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Art and Web Development to ensure cohesive branding, product development and online presence. + Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports, specifications, and creative briefs. Conduct competitive environment analysis and assess pricing strategies to ensure competitive positioning. Ideal Candidate: We are seeking a dynamic, decisive leader with exceptional communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to business. An MBA with a specialization in Marketing is preferred, though extensive experience with U-Haul Centers and MCOs will also be considered. Required Skills: + Superior written and verbal communication abilities. + Strong research and analytical capabilities. + Deep understanding of current products and future concepts within the organization. + Creative and innovative thinking with a willingness to listen. + Budget management experience. + Professional judgment and discretion honed through extensive experience. + Ability to forecast trends and address challenges effectively. + Knowledge of current trends and methodologies in digital marketing.
