Your future duties and responsibilities:

As the Director of Consulting Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance sector. You will lead a high-performing team of professionals, guiding them to deliver exceptional solutions while enhancing operational efficiencies and strengthening client relationships. Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, you will work closely with a global team of business analysts, developers, architects, testers, and insurance experts to ensure client success. Your focus will be improving operational performance, customer experience, and regulatory compliance within the P&C insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities:
• Business Growth: Expand our services portfolio within the P&C Insurance industry, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and deepen relationships with key client executives, ensuring long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.
• Revenue & Profitability: Drive revenue and profitability by strategically managing accounts and engagements.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Leverage your expertise to design, propose, and implement innovative solutions for complex client challenges in business and technology environments.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, direct reports, and global teams, ensuring optimal performance and development.
• Client Satisfaction: Collaborate with account management teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Business Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the development of business strategies, including budget planning and managing engagement profitability.
• Proposal Leadership: Lead the development of competitive proposals and contribute to the evolution of solution offerings.
• Service Delivery: Take overall accountability for service delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of engagements.
• Global Team Coordination: Ensure the success of client engagements by effectively leveraging global teams and strategic partners.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• P&C Insurance Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the P&C insurance sector, including business processes, IT systems, best practices, and delivery capabilities. Familiarity with key insurance technologies such as Guidewire and Duck Creek, ensuring solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
• Industry Leadership: Established presence and deep connections in the New England marketplace, bringing innovative solutions and thought leadership to clients.
• Managed Services & System Implementations: Expert understanding of Application Managed Services and System Implementations/Modernization in the insurance industry.
• Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT technology services, software delivery, and business growth.
• Client-Facing Expertise: 7+ years of experience working with senior business executives and technology teams in a customer-facing role.
• Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with C-level, SVP, and VP-level stakeholders.
• Organizational Navigation: Proven ability to navigate large, complex organizations and work in a multi-dimensional, matrixed environment.
• Portfolio & Project Management: Expertise in managing portfolios and projects, helping clients prioritize and execute critical IT initiatives.
• Strategic Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead end-to-end strategy or solution design projects, providing guidance and problem-solving support when necessary.
• On-Time, On-Budget Delivery: Track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Support & Project Management: Experience in service request management, support management, and overall project management.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and mentor a diverse, cross-functional team.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the P&C insurance domain, ensuring the continuous improvement of IT services and offerings.

Education:
University bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $151,200 -$264,600.
