Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities. **The Director of Cloud Analytics** will lead the development and implementation of cloud-based data analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a key leadership role, the Director of Cloud Analytics will partner closely with the Cloud Engineering team to ensure alignment and effective use of cloud resources. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of cloud-based analytics and drive business growth through innovative and effective use of data **Key Responsibilities:** + **Native Google Services** : Leading the adoption and utilization of native Google services such as Google Cloud Notebooks, Data Sharing, and Big Query to drive effective analytics and data management. + **Proprietary Capabilities** : Developing proprietary capabilities to enhance the use of Google services, including creating custom data sharing and data pipelines to drive business insights and decision-making. + **Cloud Resource Optimization** : Partnering with the Cloud Engineering team to drive responsible and effective use of cloud resources, including cost optimization and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of cloud resources. + **Scalable Solutions** : Designing and implementing scalable solutions to detect and recommend patterns that require code optimization, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources and improving overall system performance. + **Migration of Analytic Environment:** Leading the migration of analytical use cases to cloud, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations. **Qualification Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; experience in the convenience retail and/or hospitality industry preferred. + Minimum 10 years of experience in data analytics, cloud computing, and application development + Minimum 2 years of technical experience in Google Cloud and data analytics tools and technologies + Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Prior people leadership experience preferred. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for business stakeholders. **Qualifications** Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
