Then come and join our global team as Director Digital Supply Chain (f/m/d) for supporting Supply Chain Planning functions in Clinical Lab Solutions (CLS), Specialty Lab Solutions (SLS), and Point-of-Care (POC) in the roll out and adoption of Supply Chain Systems of our Diagnostics business. This position will liaise with those to deploy global supply and demand planning process and technology.


This position can be either located in Marburg (Germany), Sudbury (UK) or Llanberis (UK).


Your tasks and responsibilities:

Systems Implementation: You will lead the design, testing, delivery, and support sessions for the implementation of Supply Chain Management systems already underway.Training and Sustainment: You will determine training needs, write and update process/policy related training manuals training videos, and organize external training where applicable.Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will closely collaborate with business line leaders, IT teams, and planning teams to support an integrated approach to digital supply chain planning. You will share and implement best practices across CLS, SLS, and POC SCM.Performance: You will track deliverables, and benefits using quantifiable KPIs for Cost and Service improvements.Project Management: You will manage a cross functional team of project resources from internal functions and external implementation partners. This includes the Management of escalations in a timely and effective manner.Change Management: You will build a change management strategy that minimizes transition risks, achieves user adoption, and maximizes system benefits to the business lines.Continuous Improvement: You will be challenging the status quo and influencing a culture of continuous improvement in the planning organizations.Digital Strategy: You will play a key role in developing a Digital Supply Chain strategy that advances our roadmap toward becoming a best-in-class supply chain. You will propose future projects to address quantifiable deficiencies and develop business cases to secure approvals from leadership.

Your qualifications and experience:

You have a university degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fieldYou have many years of experience in Supply Chain and Integrated Business Planning within a Manufacturing EnvironmentYou have several years of experience with Advance Planning Systems and SAPYou have prior experience in the implementation of Supply Chain Planning SystemsYou have profound knowledge of advanced supply planning approaches across all aspects of supply planning (e.g., network capacity planning, production planning, DRP, MRP, detailed scheduling), informed by prior roles and ongoing education of cross-industry practices (e.g., concurrent planning).You possess the ability to interpret and communicate both business and technical requirements and impacts.

You have fluent English language skillsYou have great communication skills and your ability to convince colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders, including influencing and presenting to senior-level business and functional leaders (VP level and above)You possess the ability to coach and develop leaders in global/regional Supply planning organizationYou have a strong interest in cross-functional and cross-disciplinary optimization projects and the ability to work with stakeholders in complex organizational structuresYou have a “can do” mentality, personal responsibility and willingness to drive things forwardYour personal qualities include decisiveness, an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on achieving business resultsYou are willing to travel up to 10-20%
