AEG seeks an industry leader to lead and expand AEG’s products and services in the areas of transportation and building electrification. The ideal candidate will be a recognized expert in electrification adoption forecasting, program design, and program evaluation, demonstrated through previous consulting experience, a thorough knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory policies, a strong track record of project execution, relationship building, and business development. A strong background in the program design of energy efficiency and demand response programs is preferred. Responsibilities : + Provide leadership for key practice areas + Contribute to the development of AEG’s business objectives, directives, and product development + Use industry expertise and thought leadership in the area of electrification to drive innovation and excellence within AEG + Support AEG goal achievement by developing new business with existing and new clients + Engage in and lead additional management activities such as management strategy, business development strategy, and improvement of processes + Manage/direct a team of analysts, associates, project managers and/or managers to meet or exceed their goals in project work and professional development + Provide direction and coaching to direct reports that supports the successful achievement of their job development goals + Manage and/or oversee complex projects or tasks which may include: market assessment, adoption forecasting, load impact analyses, cost-effectiveness assessment, program development and planning, evaluation analysis, market research, and other work that aligns with AEG’s products and services + Manage/direct the development of project deliverables including written memos, reports, and presentations and manage the QA/QC process on those deliverables to the project director’s satisfaction + Manage/direct QA/QC of complex analysis performed by others to ensure deliverables are high quality, sensible, and error free + Communicate analytical methods and results to clients and the broader industry in a clear and effective manner + Approve technical decisions related to complex research, planning, and data analysis + Manage/direct the development of analysis plans for complex tasks and/or projects + Build and maintain relationships with clients to maximize productivity and cultivate future opportunities, and + Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: + BA/BS in Engineering, Economics, Public Policy, Business or related field + 10 or more years of industry experience Additional Qualifications: + Advanced degree in related field preferred + Active membership in one or more industry groups or associations + Demonstrated ability to manage junior staff members + Demonstrated ability to lead key practice areas + Demonstrated success in business development + Demonstrated industry expertise in the areas of transportation and building electrification + Leading skills in analysis, problem-solving and decision making + Leading skills in both verbal and written communication + Leading skills in the development of analysis plans for discrete tasks and/or projects + Leading skills in QA/QC approaches and procedures + Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information + Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism and a cooperative attitude + Strong organizational skills with proven ability to follow through on multiple tasks and priorities + U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required + May be required to pass security and drug clearance #LI-SMC AMERESCO challenges the brightest, most talented and creative individuals in the industry by providing an environment that embraces initiative, diversity, and achievement along with comprehensive rewards, including people-oriented insurance, investment, and incentive plans.
