GRMC is a 346-bed acute care hospital with inpatient and outpatient care. **Job Overview:**
The Director of Emergency Services assumes leadership responsibility for the divisions clinical and administrative departments assigned. The director is responsible for the development of patient care programs, policies, and procedures. The director will participate with administration, management, medical staff, clinical leaders and frontline employees in the decision making structures and processes. The director will implement an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess, and improve the reliability and quality of care delivered to patients. The director is responsible for budgeting and managing supplies, equipment, and personnel in the division. The director will ensure that division staff has sufficient information to comply with corporate compliance program.
**Education:**
+ BSN Required
+ Master’s Degree preferred or working towards completion within three years of hire.
**Certifications/Experience:**
+ Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama
+ BLS within 30 days
+ ALS within 6 months
+ Previous Hospital Leadership experience
+ Knowledge of business application
+ 5-7 years nursing experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility in management preferred
