Overview
We are looking for a Director of End User Computing (EUC) to join our team. This position will directly report to the AVP End User Services and is responsible for the implementation, management, and support of all end user compute devices, both physical and virtual. This includes but is not limited to tablets, phones, thin clients, laptops, and Azure Desktops, and includes functions such as device purchasing, security, support, asset tracking and retirement/disposal. The ideal candidate will have a balance technical knowledge with a focus on leadership.
Provide technical and leadership direction within the EUC team and contributes to maturing the overall effectiveness of the IT organization. Also, responsible for mentoring and leading the EUC team to an increased sense of team ownership and pride as an internal business partner.Develop and implement formal processes, tools, and organizational capabilities to better service evolving business needs.Partner with senior business and executives to define and implement the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle management of all end user computing devices and technologies to support the business. About You Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.Minimum 8 years of progressive responsibilities within IT functions and minimum 3 years’ experience leading a technical team.Minimum 5 years of corporate end user device support with solid technical troubleshooting abilities.Extensive knowledge of device management and automation tools such as Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, Microsoft SCCM, and others.Clear and concise communicator who can effectively engage all levels of staff from individual contributors to executives. Extensive experience presenting complex content to business and technical executive audiences.Strong written and oral communications skills to effectively engage audiences across the IT organization, business units, and customers.Proven experience engaging senior business and technical executives to explain and “sell” technology strategies in non-technical terms to gain consensus and be able to effectively defend the merits and value of each resulting initiative on the roadmap.
