If these words resonate with you, we should talk. **Job Overview** **Position Schedule:** Full-Time As a Director in Enterprise Communications, part of the firm's External Affairs division, you will be responsible for leading a team to creates, align and execute integrated communications strategies for internal and external stakeholders and managing reputational needs that accelerate progress on firm outcomes and improve the effectiveness and impact of our brand. **What you'll do:** + Leads the vision, strategy, and outcomes for a team within the Enterprise Communication function responsible for reaching mix of audiences inside and outside the firm. + Hires, onboards, leads, coaches, and develops a team of leaders - both department leaders and team leaders (either directly and/or matrix). May also lead associates, contractors, freelancers and agencies. + Manages overall area resources including people resources and budgets. + Creates, aligns, and executes across enterprise level communication and reputational needs, leading integrated enterprise-level communication strategies. + Provide business and thought leadership to accelerate progress on firm outcomes and improve the effectiveness and impact of our brand. + Contributes to External Affairs strategy. For more information on the Benefits available to Edward Jones associates, please visit our benefits page (https://secure.edwardjonesbenefits.com/fleet/public/index/f914262d-0362-4682-bd1e-0ccd25f1dfb1) . **Hiring Minimum:** $140400 **Hiring Maximum:** $239100 Read More About Job Overview **Skills/Requirements** **What you'll need:** + 12 or more years of communications, journalism or marketing experience + 6-10 years of experience leading or coaching others + Must have experience working within both internal and external communications + Preferred: Experience in financial services, other highly regulated industries + Preferred: Agency and media relations experience + Extensive experience driving projects and directing people to deliver strategic outcomes in large complex organizations with changing priorities and deadlines. + Advanced depth of expertise in application of communication and reputation management capabilities. + Strong written and verbal communication skills and understands the critical and enabling role communication and reputation management plays in the success of our firm and our transformation. + Demonstrated ability to deliver results and communicate with others in a team-based or matrix environment. + Demonstrated experience with successfully influencing and coaching senior leaders through communication and thought leadership strategies. + Strong partnership and collaboration skills to work across a variety of stakeholder groups and co-create integrated solutions that deliver value to the enterprise. + Able to think critically and see underlying concepts and patterns to identify the right opportunities to solve, forecast complex resource needs and recognize risks and the broader implications of decisions across the enterprise. + Considers multiple solutions and understands the impact on enterprise goals.
