Reports to ACEO, the Director of Facility Services is responsible for the direct supervision of the Plant Operations and Grounds departments, with general oversight of Biomed, Security, Env Services, Laundry and Communications departments. Provides in-service education to hospital employees. Effectively manages cost and quality of maintenance services provided to the facility, including service contracts. In addition, is responsible for budgets, long and short range planning for equipment, services and construction. Works effectively with OSHPD and State Fire Marshal. Attends, schedules and participates in required hospital meetings and functions. Gathers, reports and presents statistics as needed. Coordinates JCAHO preparedness and responds to all regulatory and/or accrediting agencies.
