Responsible for leading and transforming all aspects of pilot crew scheduling and coordination for the worldwide pilot populationServes as a resource for and represents Flight Operations on the companys negotiating team when requireDirects the management of daily and short-range pilot schedules, the reassignment of pilots on a system basis, and coverage to ensure customer-focused, cost-effective, and consistent administration of schedulesDirects communication and coordination with System Operations Control to minimize recovery from schedule disruptionsEnsure pilot crew schedulers are trained and proficient in the application of the pilot contract, FARs and associated systems used in the daily operationIdentify and implement process enhancements and scheduling efficienciesUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
· Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Operations Research, Transportation, or related area
· 10 years of relevant experience
· 5 years of operational experience
· 2 years of leadership experience
· Problem solving, continuous improvement, and strong communication skills
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
· Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
· Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
· Advanced Degree in Logistics, Operations Research, Transportation, or related area
· 5 years of operational experience in Crew Scheduling or similar area
