Growing together.** Positions in this function are responsible for design, communication and administration of enterprise-wide health and welfare, and retirement and savings benefit programs in a heavily outsourced environment. Manages vendors, the annual calendar, and ensures programs are fiscally sound and documentation meets legally required standards. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them + Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business + Participates in the development of business strategy + Develops, execute and manage business total rewards plans to achieve objectives + Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives + Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences + Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches + Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation structures, ensuring alignment with industry benchmarks + Lead the evaluation, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives + Develop performance-based incentive programs that reward individual and team achievements, enhancing employee motivation and organizational outcomes + Manage executive compensation programs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and shareholder interests + Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so **Required Qualifications:** + 15 years total rewards CoE experience with expertise in the PH employment landscape + At least 10 years of extensive experience in compensation and benefits management, including executive compensation + Leadership experience as the role will support 2 direct reports and 3-4 indirect reports deployed from vendor + Proven track record in designing and implementing successful total rewards strategies and programs. + Familiarity with creating performance-based incentive programs and employee recognition initiatives that drive motivation and engagement + Exceptional strategic thinking to lead the development and execution of total rewards strategies that drive organizational success + Proficiency in designing compensation structures, conducting benchmark analyses, and ensuring internal equity + Proven excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate total rewards offerings to employee + Shared Services background and is accustomed to the work hours and flexibility required by job + Seasoned senior manager is likely to be attracted to this level than over-all leads who often handle regional/global scope **Preferred Qualification:** + Regional or global compensation background _At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
