About the Position
The GTM Finance group at Juniper is looking for a strong Director with relevant experience to support the Financial Reporting and Analysis function. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication abilities, be data driven and detail oriented to analyze both quantitative and qualitative information into actionable insights and results.
This role will require a strong understanding of Juniper’s mission as well as business priorities across customer and product segments. This role will partner closely with leaders to help create the vision, strategies and priorities for our finance team. This role will lead, grow, empower and inspire a team of finance professionals, and work across the broader finance team
Responsibilities:
This individual will become a critical part of the Finance team and help drive several key activities including business planning and financial analysis for the Enterprise Segment as well as the AMERICAs region (Topline and Opex). This is a great role for a highly motivated individual who can function in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
Own the consolidation of financial data, develop detailed and insightful analysis to support the AMERICAs and ENTERPRISE business Lead the development and maintenance of forecasting models and other product related complex models Lead the co-ordination of overall business planning activities working with cross functional business owners Lead the development and implementation of relevant business-related metrics and processes to support key decision making including OKRs Reporting and Process improvements - constantly look for areas of improvement, and implement automation in order to reduce manual workload to focus on delivering insights into the business. Opex – provide guidance to the team on opex / spend and to highlight variances to Plan and levers to pull when spending is higher than Plan Quarter and Year end support – Quarter and Year end support tied to reporting and making sure accurate Finance data is represented. Ad-hoc reporting – Support the Finance team with adhoc reporting requests by working with the Analytics team and/or leverage existing reporting capabilities. Will include both top line and opex reporting as well as sales productivity.Business And Communication Skills
Understand the big picture as well as details of a business and effectively communicate to guide successful outcomes to business partners and other key stakeholders Responsible for continuous process improvement and implementation of toolkits to drive efficiency and effectiveness Develop high-trust relationships with Juniper executives and finance leaders to understand long-term business objectives and uncover opportunities to accelerate growth and drive efficiencies Build and maintain strong relationships across the finance leadership team, ensuring that we're thinking holistically across multiple segments and functionsQualifications:
MBA preferred with a passion for technology and finance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and capable of synthesizing multiple sources and large amount of data Attention to detail, self-directed, organized and efficient at time management Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure. Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills Experience in Enterprise Forecasting and Planning models Experience with systems such as SAP, Tableau, Clari and Alteryx 12+ years of relevant experience preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Minimum Salary: $202,400.00
Maximum Salary:$290,950.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $202,400.00 and $290,950.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
