About This Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Director, Global Mobility Delivery to lead, innovate, and elevate global mobility delivery across our global operations. 

 

In this role, you will develop, direct, and oversee global mobility systems that balance compliance, efficiency, and adaptability, fostering enhanced business performance. With deep technical expertise in global mobility, you will navigate the complexities of international and domestic relocation, international assignments, immigration regulations, and tax requirements. Collaborating with key stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Corporate Tax, Legal and external consultants and partners, you will implement forward-thinking solutions that align with Newmont’s workforce strategy and deliver an exceptional employee experience. 

 

The primary location for this position is Newmont’s headquarters in Denver, CO. This role requires flexible working hours to support the global scope of responsibilities.

 

What You’ll Do

 

Lead a globally dispersed team to deliver high-quality global mobility services aligned with Newmont’s business objectives. Develop and implement forward-looking mobility strategies, policies, and processes that balance compliance, efficiency, and employee experience. Oversee global immigration, tax compliance, and relocation programs, providing expert guidance and mitigating risks. Collaborate with Corporate Tax, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and People Business Partners to integrate mobility solutions into workforce planning and talent strategies. Use analytics and data-driven insights to measure program success, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement. Foster partnerships with external consultants and partners to ensure service excellence, compliance and cost efficiency. Considering business needs, educate internal stakeholders on the value of global mobility, supporting talent development and business growth. What We’re Looking For

 

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Extensive experience leading global mobility programs in a complex, multinational environment, including managing international assignments, tax compliance, and immigration regulations. Ability to develop innovative, scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining compliance and employee experience. Deep understanding of global mobility trends, compliance requirements, and best practices, including tax equalization, double taxation treaties, and visa/work permit regulations. Demonstrated success in managing and developing geographically dispersed teams, fostering collaboration across multiple regions and stakeholders. Strong track record of partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and external vendors to drive seamless mobility strategies aligned with business objectives. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization. Familiarity with HR systems and processes, including compensation, payroll, and benefits for international assignments. Awareness of workforce planning, talent development, and how global mobility integrates into broader HR strategies. Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments. Exceptional analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills. Why Join Newmont?

The salary range offered for this role is USD $187,000 - $222,000. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont. 

 

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
