Responsibilities 25%- Programming: Responsible for facilitation and implementation of guest health packages, programs, workshops, lectures, specialty weeks, pricing changes and hew Health and Performance services. Areas of responsibility include outlining and coordinating implementation checklists ensuring IT changes are made, communicating effectively with Ranch wide departments to ensure smooth implementation. Provides systems analysis and audit for departments in conjunction with Corporate Auditors. Creates work-flow processes and coordinates system redesign to establish efficiencies in operation, improved guest service and cost effective approaches to expense management. Coordinates process management and evaluates work flow to create measures of success and feedback loops with the overall goal of continuous quality improvement. Designs and develops measurement tools written procedures, templates and policies. Develops financial proformas for new programs workshops or services approved by revenue management and the Experience development committee. 25% -Staff Supervision: Supervises assigned Health and Performance departments including oversight of scheduling, performance reviews, and coaching, counseling, routine written and verbal feedback for all assigned staff. Provides technical assistance and support to staff and assists with any initiatives regarding process improvement, upgrades to the infrastructure and/or staff knowledge. Provides or ensures appropriate coaching, development and performance management for all staff in department. Ensures payroll functions are executed accurately and timely. 20%-Reports: Develops and regularly reviews service reports to maximize and capitalize on service promotion and availability, return on investment for capital expenditures and wage review analysis. Completes primary research on new technology and services to aid in the design or implementation of said services and technology. Makes recommendations for promotional/marketing activities to enhance revenue. 20%-Budget & Finance: Responsible for the development of annual budget and daily management to meet budgetary goals. Create efficiencies and manage expenses while increasing revenue opportunities to meet or exceed budgetary goals. Effectively analyze department utilization and attain staffing and room utilization goals. Develop budget for each of the Health and Performance areas: including Medical, Life Management, Nutrition, Performance Science (Exercise Physiology), Acupuncture, Healing Energy, Spirituality/Creative expression. Reviews advises and assists in defending budgets. Works closely with department directors to coordinate revenue and expenses on a monthly basis. 10% -Compliance: Maintains an up to date awareness of current regulatory and compliance obligations for State, Federal and other relevant jurisdictions that are applicable to Health and Performance operations. Ensures that procedures are implemented, maintained and regularly audited to sustain continued full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Promptly reports any known shortfalls to the Chief Compliance/ Auditor Officer & VP Health & Performance. Qualifications The Director of Health & Performance Innovations is highly skilled in the areas of innovation, adoption, design thinking and behavioral economics. The Director of Health & Performance has experience in the health and wellness industry and is fluent in data analysis and presentation. 10 + years of experience in Health & Performance, with a required MA or Ph.D in Health or Nursing Administration. Proven record with successful project management, ability to successfully communicate at all levels of the company and with Guests. Senior Leader-Supervises 6 or more (full time equivalent) colleagues.
