As Director of HBM Design engineering team in Mexico, you will be leading an engineering organization across multiple functions including Design Verification, Layout, PCB design, substrate design and signal integrity. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

Lead and develop a cross-functional design team (verification, layout, PCB design, substrate design and signal integrity) in Guadalajara, Mexico.Drive execution excellence across all development stages while ensuring alignment with company strategy and meeting time-to-market.Mentor engineers and promote the use of rigorous design methodologies, solid design reviews, and disciplined verification practices.Collaborate closely with global design teams to align architecture and share best practices.Manage performance management , development, hiring and retention of team members.Promote Micron culture and value within the org and site.

 

Qualifications:

15 + years of industry experience in memory design or IC design, with 5+ years in a technical leadership or people management role.Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver products on time.Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional partners in Architecture, test, process technology and peer design teams globally.Ability to lead and inspire action across organizations that don’t report to you.Excellent problem-solving, analytical , communications skills and leadership capabilities, acting as a key bridge between the Guadalajara team and global counterparts.Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.

 

Education

Preferred: MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field of studyMust have experience or proven track record of success with semiconductor / memory design and development
