Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Responsible for all aspects of department(s); Environmental Services, Linen and Food & Nutrition Services. The Director of Hospitality Services provides leadership, develops departmental goals and objectives, standards of performance, and develops policies and procedures. Responsible for the overall daily operations, to assure exceptional care and services to patients, residents, guests, and fellow employees. Continuously assesses systems and processes to achieve economical and efficient operations and achieve budgetary goals. Will have oversight of the region's service excellence initiatives including patient satisfaction. **What you will do** + Comprehensive knowledge of administrative and clinical aspects of food, nutrition, and food service administration. + Considerable imagination and a desire to offer consistently high quality, nutritional food with a menu that offers substantial variety to customers. + Knowledge of cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting of patient rooms and common areas and appropriate handling of resident linen. + Analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to develop and administer department policies, procedures and budgets, prepare a variety of reports, resolve operational problems and direct and supervise a large service operation. + Oversight of service excellence initiatives for the campus including patient satisfaction surveys and results with support from system resources. + Prepares the departmental annual budgets. Assures appropriate action is taken to achieve budgeted objectives and that costs and expense objectives are met. + Organizes and directs performance improvement and quality assurance functions of each area of responsibility. + Ensure safety and sanitation procedures are followed through staff development and planned, routine audits and tours of each area of responsibility. + Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
