Director HR Shared Services

The Director of HR Shared Services is responsible for the strategy, planning and implementation of a best-in-class HR service delivery model leveraging high-impact HR shared services, including HR Operations (Benefits & Leave Administration), HR Information Services (HRIS), Internal Communications and Systems Training, benchmarked data reporting and analytics, excellence in vendor/partner management and a focus on employee experience across the overall employee life cycle for Medxcel. The Director creates the strategy, goals and execution plan that enables business continuity, upholds standards, and creates efficiencies for HR processes while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and other applicable regulatory agencies. This position will be located at Medxcel Central Office- Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities Contribute to the success of Medxcel by providing leadership, direction and coordination of HR operations, training and internal communications. Continually assess all services, identify problems, utilize data to analyze and propose innovative approaches for solutions. Maintain records related to HR operations and ensure services are complete, accurate, available, and in compliance with all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements. Engage staff and other stakeholders in continuous improvement of systems and processes; manages resources for staff participation in improvement work activities. Organize and prioritize time and resources to manage efficiency. Appropriately delegates. Remains current of new trends and best practices and incorporates into HR Shared Services practices and programs. Demonstrate achievable and measurable results and develop action plans for improvement. Holds self and others accountable to policy, standards and commitments and provides timely follow through on questions and concerns. Ensure development of HR Shared Services initiatives to improve associate and leader satisfaction. Incorporates the use of evidence-based practice and appreciative enquiry into program development and improvement activities. Actively listen to staff ideas and concerns, assesses others communication styles and adapts to them. Articulate and present data, information, and ideas in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrate empathy and concern while ensuring HR Shared Services goals are met. Manage the complex interdepartmental and interdisciplinary relationships to assure collaboration and effective/efficient operations within total rewards and service center. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field- required. Master’s degree is highly -preferred Experience: 10+ years in an HR environment of which at least 3 years is in benefits, HRIS- required. 5+ years of HR managerial/ direct supervisory experience- required. Knowledge of associate onboarding and current benefit trends and employment practices- required. Experience in vendor management or operational development- preferred. HRIS experience – UltiPro-preferred. Experience and success working in a matrix reporting environment-preferred.
