Department: Human Resources Position: Director Human Resources Location: ISB - Corporate HQT Number Of Openings: 1 Description: The Director of Human Resources at Airblue Limited is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all facets of HR management, ensuring the airline attracts, develops, and retains top talent. This position will shape the HR strategy to align with the company's objectives while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with Airblues organizational goals.
Provide guidance to senior management on workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, offering insights to drive organizational growth.

- Talent Acquisition and Management:
Oversee the recruitment process to attract top talent for operational and leadership roles.
Implement onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively into the organization.
Develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefits plans to attract and retain employees.

- Employee Relations and Engagement:
Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
Address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and maintain open communication channels.
Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance satisfaction and productivity.

- Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, aviation regulations, and internal policies.
Oversee HR audits and implement necessary changes to maintain regulatory compliance.
Manage and mitigate legal risks related to employee relations and organizational policies.

- Performance and Development:
Lead performance management processes, including goal-setting and annual appraisals.
Design and implement training programs to upskill employees and build leadership capacity.
Drive initiatives to identify and groom high-potential talent for future leadership roles.

- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
Champion DEI initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Monitor and report progress on DEI goals to senior leadership.
Ensure fairness and equity in hiring, promotions, and employee development opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)

Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Aviation or service industry experience is highly desirable.
