All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Texas Health Huguley- operates as a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth.** **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Days **Location:** 11801 South Fwy., Burleson, TX 76028 **The community you’ll be caring for:** + Our care for patients extend to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families and providing on call, 24 hours, 7 days a week Chaplains for spiritual support. + Award winning facility and departments including “Great Place to Work” by Becker’s Hospital Review and Gallup. + Work with the latest technology and top experts including “Daisy Award” recipients while on our journey to Magnet status and Pathways designated. + Designated Emergency Center of Excellence recognizing our facility as a high-performing emergency department + Located about 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and near TCU in the award-winning school district, Burleson ISD which also provides a low-cost of living. **The role you’ll contribute:** Responsible for the following Human Resources Department procedures and processes, including, but not limited to the: hiring and application process, termination and exit interview process, agency and student compliance; benefit structures, employee recognition, orientation of employees, job descriptions, wage and salary administration, management training, performance improvement for HR, employee relations, labor law issues, policies and procedures development, recruitment and retention, affirmative action plan and employment requirements. Collaborates with the following committees to assure compliance with regulatory standards, and to establish System procedures: Leadership Council, Administrative Council, Executive Council, Professional Development Committee, Compliance Committee and JCAHO Committee. Also responsible for the Employee Health Department. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Responsible for developing and coordinating the following Human Resource Processes: o Hiring and Application Process o Termination and Exit Process, implementation of Just Culture o Oversee Benefit Programs as outlined through Corporate Benefits o Implement all Employee Recognition Retention Programs o Create, Execute and Ensure Onboarding of all new employees o Maintain and ensure hospital wide Job Descriptions o Conduct and ensure all Wage and Salary Administration and program execution o Develop and lead Management Training, outline and create LDIs as needed o Performance Improvement for Human Resources best Practices o Manage non clinical recruitment. Manages hospital Retention and Turnover programs to ensure reporting and successful follow through on process o Ensure all Agency and student requirements are fulfilled o Oversee the Database of Credential and Licensure Compliance o Provide hospital Gallup Engagement Survey leadership and execution o Sit and chair various corporate task force membership and participation as is requested · Responsible for creating and revising Human Resources policies and procedures. · Creates and develops HR policies in collaboration with administration and management. · Assures Huguley is in compliance with all legal requirements, by developing appropriate policies and compliance with all governing institutions' standards. · Communicates to administration, directors and employees changes in policies and updates staff on current policies appropriately. · Assists management with Employee Relations issues, including, coaching, counseling and termination. Manages Employee Relations activity and provides leadership using corporate legal to ensure no charges are brought on the hospital. Responsible for all legal actions relating to Human Resources. · Assists management with Labor Law issues/leads management with downsizing, layoffs. · Remains current in all labor laws. · Assures Texas Health Huguley meets all regulatory standards. · Collaborates within the Texas Health Huguley to assist with the development of procedures and processes and new programs. · Participates as a member of Leadership Council. · Participates as a member of Administrative Council. · Participates as a Compliance Committee Member. · Responsible for compliance with all legal and governing institution's regulations as related to Human Resources. · Ensures that federal Equal Employment Opportunity postings are kept current. · Ensures that Texas Department of Health regulations are met. · Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety Health Administration. · Responsible for assisting in the development, coordination and compliance of the following Employee Health Processes: o New hire physicals o Immunizations and screening o Workers Compensation o Wellness Program o OSHA Compliance o Coordinate the Employee Health Compliance Database o Fitness for Duty o Impaired Employee Program o Physical Assessments o Transitional Duty o Joint Commission requirements · Ensures that department expenditures remain within approved operating budget and reports variances to appropriate personnel. · Reviews labor management reports and adjusts staffing as needed, in a timely manner for acuity and safety. · Ensures that department maintains 100% compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. · Effectively manages the Human Resource function of the department. · Regularly attends mandatory meetings unless approval is obtained from appropriate personnel. · Uses the hospital Performance Improvement model to identify and resolve various issues and improve outcomes both interdepartmentally and intradepartmental. o Accurately documents processes identified and improvement of this process. o Turns in applicable reports to the Performance Improvement Council on a quarterly basis. o Participates in data collection, analysis and reporting for on-going Performance Improvement activities. · Responsible for Social Accountability for the Human Resources Department and submitting the required reports. · Effectively role models appropriate behavior and leadership to all employees, exemplifying the mission and values of the system. · Maintains a consistently high level of quality throughout the department in services provided to all customers, both internal and external. · Conducts group meetings with staff on a regular basis. · Conducts goal meetings on an individual basis with staff members. · Acts as an advisor for administration, directors and employees regarding Human Resources, labor law and policy issues. **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : · Bachelor’s degree required. · 5 years human resources generalist and employee relations experience required. **Preferred Qualifications:** **·** Masters degree preferred. **·** 10 years of All Around Human Resource experience: Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Health, Policy & Compliance **·** Healthcare/Hospital Experience This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
