SUMMARY
As the Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product engineering efforts. You will lead multiple teams of engineers focused on Screening Compliance and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive technical strategy, innovation, and execution excellence. This position reports directly to the VP of Engineering and offers an exciting opportunity to influence and execute our product roadmap while fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. This individual will be responsible for multiple teams focused on delivering compliance improvements for our OneSite and On-Site products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to multiple engineering teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Technical Strategy: Define and drive the technical direction of our products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs. Execution Excellence: Oversee the execution of engineering projects from inception to delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and timeliness. Team Development: Mentor and develop engineering managers and team members, promoting professional growth and creating a strong talent pipeline. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and deliver exceptional user experiences. Innovation: Drive innovation and technical excellence within the engineering organization, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies. Operational Efficiency: Implement processes and tools to improve engineering efficiency, productivity, and overall operational excellence. Performance Management: Establish clear goals and objectives for teams and individuals, regularly monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing engineering teams in a SaaS environment. Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with a deep understanding of modern software development practices, cloud technologies, and scalable architectures. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive cultural change, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Innovative Thinker: Track record of driving innovation and implementing best practices to solve complex technical challenges. Strategic Vision: Ability to formulate and execute technical strategies aligned with business objectives, anticipating future trends and opportunities. Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster a transparent and communicative environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
