Director Imaging
Community Health Systems
Looking for an experienced Imaging Director to help lead Physicians Regional Healthcare System's imaging services at three hospital campuses. Responsible for all diagnostic imaging modalities for ER, inpatients and outpatients, including Interventional Radiology and Stroke Intervention. The leader will manage the hospital's resources, including staffing, equipment and work closely with the radiology physician practice to develop, market and grow the hospital's imaging services.
+ Directs the Diagnostic Imaging Department's operations including Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Radiology, CT and Ultrasound.
+ Supervises new testing procedures and related protocol.
+ Regulates the maintenance of departmental facilities, supplies, equipment, and material in a manner to promote health, comfort, and efficiency.
+ Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
+ Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
+ Typically reports to a System Director.
+ Bachelor's degree with at least 7-10 years of experience in the field.
+ Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
